All about the content creator behind Settling for Great
Hi! My name is Jen and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I’ve backpacked around the world, and now I’m a mom of two, striving to up-level family life and continue our adventure. Our family has decided not to settle for anything less than great. I began the blog Settling for Great as a way to hold myself accountable. I want to inspire others to up-level their family lives as well.
I’m originally from Vancouver B.C. but 9 years ago my hubby (then fiancé) and I moved on a whim across the country. We now call Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada HOME. 🇨🇦
Since moving here, we got married, bought a house, and opened a sports conditioning gym. Most importantly, we welcomed 2 babies into the world – Linden 👦🏼 (4 yrs old) and Lucia (1.5 years).
I work for Canada’s best airline ✈️ and I LOVE to travel. I’ve been to every continent except Antarctica and I’ve been to 29 countries. 🌍 More recently, we have been exploring more of this beautiful province we live in 🚘 .
You are most likely to find me in a messy bun or baseball cap, surviving off coffee, dry shampoo & wine 🍷 (not necessarily in that order 😂). OR working on my creative side which you can check out @fringestreet_designs ➰
